Jennifer Franklin B.A., B.Ed., M.A. ECE., OCT

Jennifer Franklin is a Full Day Kindergarten teacher in the Halton Catholic District School Board. She currently teaches at St. Mary School in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Her passion for early childhood education is what drives her to provide her students with playful experiences that egnite their creativity and imagination. Jennifer has been teaching kindergarten for six years and strongly believes in the power of play.

After graduating from the Early Childhood Education Undergraduate program at Ryerson University, Jennifer completed her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Studies. When Jennifer is not reading the latest articles on play based learning, she is attending workshops and conferences to keep up with current research. Her desire to stay current and continually challenge her thinking are visible in her classroom environment and teaching style.
