Why A Blog?

Teaching young children has changed dramatically over the years. The intent of this blog is provide parents and other educators with a glimpse into our journey of the Full Day Kindergarten program and gain a different perspective of children learning through their play.  With an appreciation for all that play is, you can truly see that it is remarkable what children demonstrate about their understandings of the world.  It is my hope that our learning journey will inspire and provoke your thinking about children and their play.
